As part of its annual work plan, the Office of Internal
Audit conducted an audit of WFP’s use of social media,
focusing on the period 1 January 2019 to 31 March 2020.
The audit addressed physical access limitations imposed by
the COVID-19 pandemic by carrying out analytical
procedures and reviews, surveys and conference calls.
Based on the results of the audit, the Office of Internal
Audit has come to an overall conclusion of partially
satisfactory / some improvement needed.
