The 2023 SSTC policy provides clarity on WFP’s new
strategic direction in SSTC in the rapidly changing global
and corporate environment, and the need to respond to
growing demands from host governments.
The 2023 SSTC policy clarifies how SSTC will contribute to the implementation of WFP’s new Strategic Plan (2022-2025), the new generation of Country Strategic Plans and align WFP’s SSTC approach to the UN System-wide Strategy for SSTC (2022-2025).
