This publication presents the Climate Services Accelerator
Programme, a five-year initiative launched in 2022 by the
World Food Programme (WFP) in partnership with NORCAP. The
programme aims to expand the pool of female
climate-service experts in the humanitarian sector by
equipping them with technical, field, and operational
skills. It describes the mentorship structure—one year at
WFP headquarters followed by a year in the field—and
highlights the contributions of individual participants.
