The World Food Programme (WFP), in partnership with the
World Bank, is working together on a new project aimed at
increasing access of vulnerable populations to emergency
assistance, basic services and livelihood opportunities
under the Myanmar Community Livelihood Assistance Project
(MCLAP) (P181475). This initiative will be made possible
with the generous support of the World Bank, whose
commitment to sustainably boosting shared prosperity has
had a profound impact on poverty reduction and sustainable
development in Myanmar.
To ensure compliance with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Standards and fulfill reporting obligations, WFP and the World Bank have developed a set of three key documents to guide project implementation.
