Responding to the 2022 food crisis in the Sahel: Leveraging and strengthening social protection to mitigate the impact of current and future crises

WFP in Western Africa is responding to the impact of the global food crisis in the Sahel region by providing support to governments to enhance their national social protection systems to be more resilient, reactive to shocks and address food security.
