
The purpose of this review is to analyse the current state
of food security and nutrition in Togo, identify gaps in
relation to the Government's objectives, and to
determine national priorities to achieve zero hunger. For
its formulation, a participatory approach was adopted by
the Agro Consulting Firm, under the direction of Mrs.
Suzanne Aho-Assouma, Lead Convener. Beyond the stated
objectives, the process has helped to strengthen
intersectoral work dynamics and dialogue between
representatives of ministries, the private sector and
civil society around issues related to food and nutrition
security as well as effects related to climate change,
social protection and gender.
